Year 9/10 Futsal Tournament

A massive congratulations to all the students who represented Sirius College MFC in the Melbourne Regional Futsal Tournament on Monday the 30th of April. Our college was represented with a team in the ’15 boys’ (year 9 ) tournament and in the ’16 boys’ (year 10) tournament. Both sides qualified for the semi-finals after performing brilliantly through the round robin stage of the competitions, and both finished second in their respective pools. We had our chances in the semi-finals, however, in both cases we just fell short with losses to the eventual tournament champions. The boys represented our school magnificently throughout the entire day by showing great endeavour and sportsmanship.

Our best performing players of the tournament were: Imran Turkmen (10B); Murat Aslim (10A); Hassan Gao (9A); and Kayra Ulku (9A).
